Equipment
X-ray machine:
An x-ray machine for taking intraoral photos, with a high-frequency generator which eliminates soft radiation useless in diagnostics, which as a result reduces the radiation absorbed by the patient by 30%. It works with any digital radiography system.
VDW Gold: A machine for working on root canals mechanically, and An electronic endometer of the latest generation. A machine for measuring the length of root canals. It shows "live" movement of an instrument along the whole root canal.
RVG radiovisography: A simple and user-friendly digital radiology for taking digital x-ray photos. Radiovisography reduces the amount of x-ray radiation in dental intraoral photos by 90%. In practice instead one traditional intraoral photo taken on traditional plates, here with the use of RVG it is possible to take 4 or 5 digital photos.
Intraoral video camera:
An intraoral video camera is nowadays standard equipment in modern dental offices. Together with an LCD screen, it is an integral part of a dental unit and shows the whole treatment process. A camera in the office is a benefit both for a doctor and a patient. High-quality images sent to the LCD screen allow the doctor to have a closer look at the condition of teeth and show them to the patient.
Autoclave:
A self-locking apparatus for the sterilization of materials by steam under pressure. The autoclave allows steam to flow around each article placed in the chamber. The vapor penetrates cloth or paper used to package the articles being sterilized. Autoclaving is one of the most effective methods for destruction of all types of microorganisms. The amount of time and degree of temperature necessary for sterilization depend on the articles to be sterilized and whether they are wrapped or left directly exposed to the steam.
Ultrasonic cleaner:
An ultrasonic cleaner, often colloquially referred to as a sonicator, is a cleaning device that uses ultrasound (usually from 15-400 kHz) and an appropriate cleaning solution to clean delicate items. The ultrasound is not effective without the cleaning solution; it enhances the effect of a solution appropriate for the item to be cleaned and the soiling. They are often employed for cleaning of jewellery, lenses and other optical parts, coins, watches, dental and surgical instruments, fountain pens, industrial parts and electronic equipment.
Light curing units:
As the dental industry moves more and more toward adhesive dentistry, a LED dental curing light is becoming one of the most used pieces of equipment in your operatory. Compared to traditional halogen curing lights, they most often come cordless and are completely quiet.
Jet cleaner polisher:
A spray of air and sodium bicarbonate and a water jet meet to quickly remove plaque and stains without pain. Much, much faster than conventional brushes, rubber cups, pastes and polishing strips. And much more thorough - without being abrasive. Plaque, soft deposits and discolorations disappear quickly and painlessly - even from interproximal areas. Ingredients are dispensed with precision and at a comfortable temperature.
Ultrasonic scalers:
In the management of periodontal disease, one of the most powerful technologies available is the dental ultrasonic scaler. Like the rest of dentistry, the technology continues to improve. Options for irrigation expand your choices for antimicrobial therapy, and powerful boost modes help to get at even the toughest calculus and stain. Unique scaler tip designs make access even easier to efficiently get the job done. With some even having the ability to switch into endodontic modes, dental ultrasonic scalers are becoming the most important piece of equipment in the treatment room.
